Hi! We are finally carrying Trumpette ( I know, it’s about time!) the cute little gift sock sets for babies that look like shoes on their feet. They come in a six pack of assorted colors to match any outfit baby may have. While we were at it, we picked up “Howdy” also made by Trumpette, the ride on bouncy cow for ages 3 and up. I mean how could we not, this being Wisconsin and all. We have Howdy in white or pink.

Kathe Kruse

Today we got in a big shipment of Kathe Kruse. In case you did not know, Kathe Kruse is mainly a doll company and their products are mostly cotton with some items made from organic cotton and often in the “Waldorf” style. Their products are of natural materials and made in Germany. We mostly get in a lot of baby toys from Kathe Kruse but this time we also got in 3 “Feng Shui” dolls for girls that are just lovely! All are cotton knit for the body and the hair is made of the very softest wool mohair imaginable. I believe they are filled with beads or sand so they have a nice weight to them (about 11 inches tall). One is called “Fire” and has a reddish dress and the skin is a gorgeous brown and the hair is a fiery red. The other is “Earth”and has a green dress with blond hair. The last one is “Water” with a blue dress and beautiful blue gray hair. A little girl would LOVE any one of these dolls!

Sophie Giraffe-Coming Soon!

This is Sophie, the squeaky baby toy made of all natural rubber that is a wonderful teething/chew toy. Made in France for the last 40(!) years, Sophie is coming to Wild Child in January and will also be available on our website. Here’s what people have to say about Sophie:

Cute dress, huh? We have the blue print dress in sizes 12 months through 3T. This dress is made of bamboo fiber by “Kicky Pants” and it’s very full and twirly. Nice with white or ecru cotton tights, little girls love wearing it!

New Twirly Girl Dresses

Isn’t this a GREAT dress?! It’s part of the Twirly Girl line that we carry which is mostly skirts(reversible) and I decided to try a few of their dresses. This one is called “spinderella” and we only have one in a size 5. We do have lots of the skirts and a couple of jumper dresses that can be layered over our colorful tees. The whole line is about styles that twirl and the dresses and skirts make little girls feel just like this little girl looks-happy. Last week a family bought one of the skirts for their little girl (they were visiting from out of state) and the next day, the dad made the effort to call our store to tell us that the little girl twirled in her new skirt ALL DAY LONG! We love happy customers and their happy children. Twirly Girl products are all USA made.

We now carry Bobux baby shoes in addition to Robeez. Bobux are made in New Zealand of eco-leather and they work just like Robeez- they stay on! Bobux’s claim to fame is that the patterns are positioned for baby to see, and why not- you know how babies like to kick their feet up and play with them. Bobux are sure to delight! Haba “Animal upon Animal”

Our huge fall shipment of Haba came in and one of the things that caught my eye was this game called “Animal upon Animal” (ok, so it gets a little lost in translation) that’s a wonderful stacking/balancing game. The pieces are all colorful wood animal shapes with dice included. It can be played by 2-4 players and is for ages 4-99. It also has an adaptation for a single player, when there’s just no one else around. High quality Haba game, made in Germany.

Mukluks for Little Feet

We carry these cute little baby mukluks made in Sweden for us by NowaLi. Mukluks are thick cotton terry booties with leather soles stitched on (move over Robeez!) They are designed to stay on too. These shoes/booties are perfect for crawling or walking babies. The flexible fabric lets a baby’s growing foot move and wiggle naturally. NowaLi also makes some beautiful striped cotton tights for us that are super popular. Our mukluks are in stock right now in colorful boy and girl prints in sizes 0-24months.
