After all these years, Wild Child is revisiting some of it’s beginnings. When we started our business in the early 80’s almost half of our little shop was filled with wonderful second hand clothing. Now, we have started carrying just a few select very gently used baby and children’s items. Each recycled piece has a distinctive orange hangtag that says, “gently used, cleaned. sometimes hand-dyed, embellished. always perfect.” Our gently used division is labeled “titmouse” in baby sizes, “LOVEbird” in girls 2-14 and “KINGfisher in boys 2-14. It includes tops, bottoms, dresses and baby shoes with our criteria being that they must be cute as well as stylish (and in excellent condition). Prices are less than half of full “new” retail price. One of the huge advantages (besides price) is that at Wild Child we can always find a match up piece if needed. We HAVE the colorful dyed tee that will match those KINGfisher shorts, or LOVEbird skirt. We have the legging that will match that titmouse baby dress.
